Blackberry varieties grown are Kiowa, Navajo, Shawnee, and Black Satin. These blackberries are
usually 2-3 times larger than the wild blackberries that surround the field. Muscadine grapes
of several varieties were planted in Fall 2003. Muscadines are native to Georgia, and wild
varieties are found along the creek.
