The farmer is Lynn Pugh (read more in her bio).

The land of Cane Creek Farm was bought by the Pugh family from O.W. Adams in 1986. He had bought the land from Forrest Wade, a Cherokee Indian who had grown corn on the creek bottom. Subdivisions have been built on three sides of the farm in recent years, changing the rural nature of the community. This farm is a realization of Lynn's dream to live a more sustainable lifestyle in closer relationship to nature. Health, community, and the environment have always been important to her, and the farm gives her the chance to implement and teach others practices that sustain health for her family, her community, and the land.
