Mint Syrup for Fruit Salad

 

Boil 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar for 5 minutes.  Add a bunch of mint, chopped and let steep for 10 minutes.  Strain the syrup into a jar and store in the refrigerator for a clear syrup.

or

Boil 1/3 c. of water and 1 c. of sugar for 5 minutes, add a bunch of mint chopped, steep, whirr all in blender for a heavier, green syrup.
