Herb Butter

 

3-5 sprigs of various herbs such as oregano, parsley, cilantro, thyme, chives, dill, basil,  or rosemary. Choose at least 3 different herbs.  Remove leaves from those with woody stems. Garlic can be added if you wish.  Process in a food processor with ½ cup of (real) softened butter until smooth.   Spoon butter into molds or drop spoonfuls on waxed paper.  Place in the refrigerator of freezer until hard.  These can then be stored in a plastic bag in the freezer until needed.  This butter is delicious on rolls or on fresh, steamed vegetables.
