Braised
Greens
2 Tb
oil
6 cups of chopped
greens
2 cloves of chopped
garlic
1 cup of chicken
stock
Salt and pepper to
taste
½ cup of sliced
carrots (optional)
Heat oil in a large
skillet. Add garlic and stir
for one minute. If desired add carrots. Add greens and stir about 3
minutes. Then add chicken stock and
cook until just tender, about 5-8 minutes.
The time will depend on the type of greens you are using. Season with salt and pepper and
serve.
